Buffera Ltd was founded bu Julian Peppit in January 1998 to market and distribute the original multifunctional item of headwear called Buff® (after having bumped into Buff® and the European Sales Manager on a mountain in Europe!). Julian first helped with the setting up of the European marketing and distribution network for Buff® so when the opportunity arose for distribution in the UK and the Republic of Ireland, he recognised the potential for the product and Buffera came into being.

Since 1998, the company has moved premises on 4 different occasions and our warehousing space has increased seven fold, with another move to bigger premises looking imminent. Our office team has trebled during this time and together with our network of established agents throughout the UK, we provide a focused team dedicated to building the Buff® brand and spreading the word about multi-functional headwear.

Since the company was formed we have concentrated solely on the one brand and have seen sales of multi-functional headwear grow year on year, we have also opened an office on the west coast of the USA where, through a commercial tie up with the CBS Survivor show (a customised Oritingal Buff® is currently worn by all the contestants), we have seen sales of Buff® explode, thus exposing the American nation to multi-functional headwear.

As a team effort Buffera Ltd has started a new trend for what will undoubtedly become an essential clothing accessory that's here to stay! Buff® multifunctional headwear is now to be found in most of the leading multiple and independent retailers in the outdoor, motorcycle and cycle markets, with new outlets in the equestrian and garden leisure markets coming on board as well.

The company now has a dedicated team dealing with customised Buff® headwear for sales promotions and incentives, working with companies such as Microsoft, Discovery Channel, Castlemain XXXX, Subaru, Kawasaki, Salomon, The North Face and other well-known and respected names, as well as several licensing companies with a view to broadening the marketplace.
